Pyjamas

OK I'm not sure pyjamas can be seen as stylish but I am in search of a couple of pairs. I am looking for the old fashioned full pyjamas with the long sleeve button up tops.

I have looked in many places, but none of them have long enough legs. I need the legs to be at least 29inch long because I detest that ankle swinging look! Am a size 18/20 with a huge spare tyre so baggier styles are prefered. Pattern/Colour isn't an issue.. I just wanna be warm and comfy!!

figleaves have got quite a few - website's a bit big to plough through but they have some nice white ones. CF - you are quite right. PAjamas? what's all that about? But on the positive side I have just been googling pyjamas and have discovered the rather wonderful phrase "the cat's pyjamas" apparently it means the same as the dog's bolleaux...

Primark sometimes has nice ones - not sure how long the legs are though as I'm short so only tend to notice that they are massive.

I also like La Senza for pajamas but they don't really seem to be the old fashioned full pajamas.

Have you tried M&S or BHS or Debenhams?

Do they do different leg lengths (other than 3/4) in pjs?

I LOVE pyjamas with a passion, and I have a few pairs just like you describe from H and M, which were only about 10 or 15 pounds each. Also worth trying primark, and maybe Laura Ashley? Not sure if they still do nightwear, but I have a beautiful pair from there which I got in the sale about 5 years ago and they are still going strong.

I would try toast and the white company, toast always do great classic pyjamas in lovely fabric. I think there were some white striped PJ's in the white co catalogue too.

Definitley TKMaxx. I got two pairs of Elizabeth Emmanuel ones there. £12 a pair. Lovely long legs even on me and I'm a 34 inside leg.

Primark - I got some lovely old fashioned stripey pyjamas, brushed cotton, sooo comfy.

I'm a smaller size but the leg length was fine for me (30/31 leg in jeans).

Also got some with a fleecy top - the bottoms to those are so comfy I wear them as casual trousers around the house when I want to relax.
