Just bought the Babyliss Big Hair! Any tips?

After hearing lots of good things about it here, and wanting great hair without having to go to the hairdressers (the Big Hair is loads cheaper!), I just bought it!

Had crap hair since I stopped BF 18m ago and can't stretch to regular cuts. Just thin and never looked nice. Went for the 42mm as I have shoulder length hair, layers and a side fringe, plus I want to grow my hair (but will still have payers etc). It's certainly big enough.

What heat protection do I need (though, after one use, it takes such little time and your hair is practically dry when you use it that it must get less heat than a normal hairdryer?)? Anything else?

I use the BedHead Queen for a Day thickening spray and think it's brilliant. I don't use a separate heat protection spray but then I tend to use the BBH before my hair is completely dry - for the final third of the blow-dry, if that makes sense.

Thank you! Never thought of looking at Bedhead for a thickening spray.

After you use it do you need to straighten your hair?

No, hair lovely and smooth! Only used it once but first time worked better than expected.

Think I need to invest in one

Do! I have brilliant hair every day now! Effortless and time saving! And money saving!

I have BBH and don't use it that much, but on Saturday night I did! Got a raft of compliments (doesn't happen often). I use a setting type lotion, squirt that into my hair after towel drying especially in roots, comb through, blast off with hair dryer then section hair & use BBH. Awesome.

Disclaimer: I have MASSES of hair and it is naturally thick, so BBH tames & makes mine look slick.

It is brilliant! I always rough dry first with hairdryer then use the big hair.

Tigi Superstar is very good for lift.

Yes. Pop it straight in the loft

Only 9.30 and 3 people at work already asked me if I've had a haircut! Loads of compliments! Took less than five minutes to do my hair with a toddler running around - let it dry first over breakfast! Why don't they hand these to all new mums?!
