Too warm for boots, too cold for sandals

Hi there. I struggle with footwear this time of year. I usually go straight from boots to fitflops, but now it's too warm for boots but way too cold for fitflops, what does one wear with say cropped jeans for a casual stroll. I should say I'm really short so I dislike flat shoes and I need comfort as I have wide feet. What options are there?

loafers? some have highish heels, or wedge trainers?

Flat pumps - there's loads in the shops at the mo

This is the fun bit -the red ones (love them!) are from everything5pounds (shh,don't tell!) And the white ones are from a Chinese seller on Amazon who does various different wedged ballet pumps.Cost £19.99 including delivery

Those are nice TripTrap but I couldn't wear synthetic shoes, specially in the summer!

Is it for casual dressing? I'm short and I'm wearing New Balance 410 trainers with jeans. They are very comfortable.

Fly london do leather wedge ballet pumps

I wear boots right up until its too hot personally. I love my brogues. I have three pairs and look equally nice with skirts and trousers. Try clarks hamble oak. Also whitestuff have a gorgeous pair that i bought recently. They are the dark brown leather ones. I also bought a pair of ankle boots for those inbetween days. They are timberland chelsea ones from next.
