Mrs Bowie's quest for shoes that fit ...size 43

I have had a fruitless morning in Chilterns Street where there are no less than 4 shops selling size 9 and above.
Nothing fit.
I have very long narrow feet and everything too wide.

Even Crispin's had nothing.

Bollocks.

Next appear to have a some of size 43 online, no idea about width though, perhaps someone will come on and know more about how they fit.

Technically Next 9 is a 43 but they didn't fit me and I am a 43 elsewhere. I have to buy all my shoes online, have done for years. Amazon is pretty good, Clarks do some of their styles in a 43 but you'd have to order them in.

Clark's just aren't long enough..same with Next.
I'm going to do some online ordering from Katie Long and After 8...££££ in return postage which is annoying.

I bit the bullet last night and ordered from Nordstrom ...3 pairs of Sam Edelman ballet pumps which I know fit. Nearly £100 in taxes and postage though
