£400 to spend on a ^very^ good friend's 40th birthday

And am stumped!

She is skinny, pretty, blonde and edgy. Works in telly. I was thinking a bracelet or a bag but have been a bit glazed by the choice. She lives in London (I do not) in a commuter area. I saw a beautiful Alexander McQueen clutch that she would think was cool, but i don't know how often she goes out to restaurants etc. And it was £670!! So not that one.

There is a very good reason why I am spending so much and it is a lot but I really love her.

Any ideas from any of you edgy, pretty, skinny people?

I am spending around the same amount on my friends 40th birthday. I have booked a weekend away in Barcelona for us both. Is that an option for you?

I've no idea what your friends style is but if I was going to spend £400 on a bracelet I would get this.

I would go the bracelet route as its for a special birthday and will last longer.

or a Hermes leather cuff/wrap around bracelet?

Dexter, you've nailed it! That is so her. Great one very good idea indeed.

Wheres, my only issue with your excellent choice is that I've never heard of Astley Clarke! Is she/ he a trendyish brand?
