I'm off to Phuket this weekend and staying in Karan. So do any of you ladies know where they sell good quality fake designer bags there.

Thanks.

Hey ho, you can't please everybody all of the time.

Went to Koh Samui last year and got a really good one. Used to be able to afford the real ones but not anymore.

I've seen a friend's Turkish fake bag, it's a thing of beauty!

I wouldn't bother TBH.
They will fall to pieces within hours.

My friend at work came back with a beautiful Todds one and a Mulberry from Istanbul. I'm prepared to pay good money to get a decent copy.

Not sure about Phuket but in Bankok there used to be a great place that all the air crews used. Very good quality fakes. I would avoid the market stall ones.

So ..... Try find out if there is a place air crews use!

Not sure about fake stuff but I have some lovely silk handbags with wooden handles from Thailand. I could spend a fortune in a Thai market, on Thai-style clothing and accessories.

The silk products and mango wood products are much more ethical and the industry is supported by the queen in order to lift people in rural communities out of poverty and prevent them from having to sell their children into prostitution.

Whereas the fake goods trade is often linked to drugs/sex trade etc.
