Thank you for help with overwashed hair

I posted a short while back (can't find thread) about how not to have to blow dry my fine fair hair everyday (needed to wash it everyday as was always lank and greasy by day 2).
I got loads of tips and after experimentation I have cracked it. Thank you MN!
What works for me is

Day 1 - Using silicone free shampoo, no conditioner (using the Herbal Essence one seems best)
Spraying John Frieda Root Booster blow dry lotion (volume range)
Either leaving it to dry natural or blow dry depending on time
Hair looks great

Day 2 - shower cap on with hair tied up
Brushing hair with tangle angel brush
Spraying John Frieda Dry Shampoo (volume range)
Lightly styling with hot air brush
Takes 2 minutes max.

It looks ok. Not touchably soft or swingy but not minging or unwashed either.

Thank you! You have saved me time and boredom!
