Reviews look good

I got some round neck long sleeved tops from Boden, I found they're too short in the arms and body for me.

noddyholder · 07/04/2014 14:08

I like that. I have some from h and m shaped hem/3/4 sleeve with ribbed cuff in grey and cream really love them and only about £8 washed well but can;t see on website. Also came in a really nice pink

SpringComeHereYouFabulousSeaso · 07/04/2014 14:11

I ordered some and sent them back. Clingy round the muffin top (what isn't though) but that could be forgiven if they weren't such utterly shite, thin, cheap-looking material. Can't recommend them here.

princessdave · 07/04/2014 14:18

I have two of the v neck short sleeved lightweight tees and wear them a lot. They are thin so I do wear a cami under them except when it's really hot so if that bothers you maybe look at something else (but then I wear a cami under everything except when it's really hot so maybe I'm just weird)

The lemon yellow one from s/s13 faded with washing but I wore it loads so can't really complain. The pale pink one from s/s14 has been worn a handful of times and washed up fine. But as Spring said, they are very thin.

Can't comment on the actual boatneck part I'm afraid.

Legologgo · 07/04/2014 14:26

hmm - thin enough for nipple show through then?

ha ha I've never considered it... as in perky chilly nips or actual nipple colour?! Chilly nips absolutely which I why I don't wear thin wispy bras. BFing was not kind....

Legologgo · 07/04/2014 16:26

chirst - I hope perky chilly - other wise ti would be pornographic

Grin

depends on your bra but most tops apart from thick knitwear show chilly nips don't they.

This seasons Breton is good and I have two Hampton t's that have washed and washed. I always size up for Boden as don't like clingy.

princessdave · 07/04/2014 19:37

Yes I'd recommend the Breton & Hampton tees. Don't get the "light green" lightweight top. Thought I was getting a mint colour, it's neon green! Back it goes.

flowery · 07/04/2014 19:40

I have it in the Persian green, it's really nice, and yes it's thin, that's the "lightweight" part.

Bodicea · 07/04/2014 20:06

Wallis seem to have a few nice tops this season. There is a nice chiffony affair with butterflies all over and a polka dot number which is great for hiding a tum

BillStickersIsInnocent · 07/04/2014 20:17

I have the black one and wear it a lot. I wish they did it without the boob pocket though, then I would buy more.

I wear it on its own with paler skinnies/chinos, or under knitwear, or with skirts. Really versatile, washes well and I like the fact it's lightweight. Neckline very flattering.

BrieMonster · 07/04/2014 20:36

"Boob pocket" was halfway down my belly. Not sure what shape that makes me! So, I too wish they were sans pocket.
