Boring I know! I have the babyliss big hair and like it but also need to get a normal hairdryer. There are so many to choose from. I am looking for one that is powerful, lightweight and well priced. Are they all pretty much the same? I want to be able to blow dry my hair so that it is sleek and shiny! Thanks.

Get a Parlux.

I got a Parlux after reading about them on here. It is very good for drying my prone-to-frizz-hair very quickly and smoothly. However, they're not cheap so see it as an investment. Plus, mine is not that light, quite noisy and the buttons annoy me as I can accidentally switch the heat settings. But that might be my model. I'd still get another but I think I'd try them out in the shop beforehand next time.

thank you. This brand is new to me. I shall investigate!

Parlux!

ETI professional. Fantastic Dryer, comes in lots of colours with a 3 metre
cord. Had mine for 5 years & used every day. Would not hesitate to buy another if it broke.

I have a John Freida one & after 14 years the back cap/filter fell off so needs replacing but still dries beautifully.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 06/04/2014 06:44

I'm happy with my Parlux.

squoosh · 06/04/2014 07:07

Yep it's all about the Parlux!

bigbuttons · 06/04/2014 09:02

I looked it up and there's no way I can afford that! I shall check out the ETI one now!

I bought the Babyliss Elegance 2100w for my daughter .. Dries her very long, very thick hair quickly and has heat and speed settings. Also bought the Nicky Clarke Frizz Control 2000w for myself. Would recommend them both but think I like my daughters one more than mine!
