Where can I get photos of hair styles that I can show a hair dresser?

Those Hair magazines that I sometimes flick through at the hairdressers are like the fashion mags- nothing for IRL.

I usually wander into Supercut and get a trim...................but I'm bored and I need to go somewhere else and have some ideas to show.

Any recommendations?

Just Google the style you want eg..pixie cut, and you'll get one of those images of pixie cut pages with literally hundreds of styles on.download it, print it out, that's what I always do.

I second Pinterest, it is brill for hair styles.

I'm after a new do and, likewise, have found pinterest great.

I just googled e.g. 'short straight hairstyles' and then clicked on 'images' or there are websites with lots of ideas too

Lots of the celebs hairstyles (but I'm bearing in mind I'm a RL person, no stylist on hand here )

Currantly, boring hair is slightly past my shoulders with a whispy fringe, no layers, all one length.
But at work my hair needs to be off my face, so tied back or short.
I'm not looking for a pixie crop. Maybe a bit longer at the back with layering (I can use grips and/or product to keep it back)
But not a short bob , more shaped round my ears (does that sound too mullet?)

I wear glasses at work.
Good cheekbones, chin getting a bit saggy but I'm 48 nearly

OK. It's hair , it'll grow if I hate it.
The colour needs to be done, but I do that at home.

I'm thinking about "going for it" next week (DC school holidays so I'm with them next week)

Shorter sides maybe more layers on the top (I don't have a parting , it just falls -Gawd, that does sound like a mullet)

YY the Sharon Stone one is more like it ( but hers has been blow dried at the crown for lift, I'd be more running my hands through with a dab of mousse as I run down the stairs type )

I had short hair about 10 years ago (and I remember the regular hairdresser trips for upkeep) but since I've grown it to a bob, it just sits there. Very nice, easy to maintain, but I've outgrown it

Put 'longer pixie cut' into pinterest, and you might get some ideas.

Pinterest is great for inspiration - I always use it and then take my iPad to the salon...
