has anyone any idea where i an get my son some trainers that fasten with velcro in a size three?
he is only 6 and can't cope with laces yet and i can find NO trainers in his size that aren't laces.
absolute nightmare.

he is now in the 'bootleg' range of clarks which seem very teenagery and clumpy.
have tried clarks, next mand s,tesco, have looked on startrite website.

i do, in chesterfield there is a shop that i bought my eldest some from. size 4 and velcro. not very attractive mind, and not a named brand, but ok. i dont mind going and buying some and posting to you, if you are very stuck and cant find any at all.

thanks ever so mtpw, but he will really need to try them on before hand as his feet are so narrow-he's a d/e width fitting.nightmare.
what's the shop in case there is one near here?

sorry, i don't know sizes too well as my dd is only 16 months old. i've just seen them in lidl sometimes and i'm clueless on shoe sizes.

Xp got DS1's trainers in Brantano.Don't know if you have one near you though.
I have seen a tip on here to use elastic instead of laces then just stretch then open to put them on without having to tie them.HTH
