...in 8 weeks time. In a registry office. Have no idea what to wear. I have a huge mummy tummy (size 14-16) rest of me is a size 8-10. I will diet between now and then but have to be honest with myself and face that I am always going to have a tummy on me. Any ideas gratefully received!

What sort of thing are you thinking of?

If you want a posh frock but not a full on wedding dress then have you thought of Monsoon? I was in last week and they still had some lovely dresses in the sale in pale summery colours, creams and flesh tones etc.

do you want to wear it again?

Where do you live? If you're in London you could borrow my ghost (very stretchy) dress.

do you want a wedding dress?

If it is a wedding type dress you could go for a long chiffon empire line, so it sort of floats over your tummy but is still quite glam and feminine.
Tbh if you go to a good bridal shop you can try on loads without feeling you have to buy. Good Luck
