Idiot question re body lotions

I wouldn't dream of moisturising my face without cleansing it first but is that so with body moisturisers?

My skin is so horrid after the winter but I CBA to shower twice a day (or even once somedays) so can I be a dirty cat and just slap body lotion/oil on anyway?

I want to put some stuff on my feet every night - is that ok on non-shinyclean skin? Blush

I was going to say yes, as the rest of your body tends to be less sensitive than your face, but realised feet tend to be sweatier!

Can you not just rinse them off before putting lotion on them?

Yes, I can easily rinse my feet - can I just slap the body lotion on stale shins and arms?

Never thought of it like this Confused

Though feet will soften up way faster if you exfoliate them first, so do that? I just dangle mine over the edge of the tub, rinse and attack with foot file
