Botox anyone?

Has anyone had botox? I'm seriously thinking about having it done. Thought about a few years ago, but my longing for a furrow free brow is getting stronger now. I find myself frowning for no reason at all. A frown is now my default face and I fancy a smooth yet unworried look instead. However, I have a massive fear of it going wrong and ending up looking like a stroke victim.

Please tell me there are loads of you out there with success stories.

What age are your friends?? I wonder if I should put it off till have mega-furrows like a potato field, or have it now before the wrinkles get too bad.

Oh right. I'm 40 (and a bit). I might ask for it as an xmas pressie coz its a bit expensive. Wonder if DH will go along with it. I suppose if its a disaster it will at least wear off after six months.

I'm 35, and definitely going to next year (breastfeeding atm would have it done for my birthday next month otherwise)
friends have had it done and look great
doesn't have to be the 'wind tunnel' look I hear you can get just a light touch up... she hopes

Would agree that is only supposed to last 3-6 months so if you are unhappy not for ever. Know a few friends who had done post baby to cheer themselves up and they looked fab. Nothing noticeable - just looked like they's had a good facial and tons of sleep. Would only say have done at least a week before a big event as there is a little bit of bruising which fades over 4 days or so.

thanx for that advice incy. I'll have to take a couple of days off work then I guess. I fancy the idea of looking like i've had loads of sleep
