Can long hair get away with the 42mm BBH?

Hi, just looking for some advice really, I'm thinking of taking the plunge and getting the BBH, but my hair is long (down to my bra strap across my back). The 42mm is quite cheap on amazon at present, under 30 quid, the bigger one is much more. Would the 42mm work on long hair? TIA!

I've just ordered the 50mm and my hair is shoulder length. I think the 42mm is for layered, shorter styles and fringes. Really excited about getting it - it's had brilliant reviews!

I have the 42mm one and it is perfect for my fine short bob. If I had thick long hair (you didn't say if you had thick hair or not) I would have gone for the 50mm. Does that help?!

Thanks. I do have quite thick hair. I think I'll wait for an offer on the 50mm one.

I have long hair and had the 50mm. Then it broke and by accident I bought the smaller one. I actually MUCH prefer it. Takes no longer to do. Better results too :)

Thanks Cristiane! I've taken a chance on it Smile

I have thick shoulder length hair and bought the 42 the other day. Am so far unimpressed! Going to give it another go

stone are you doing your hair in sections? I found that made a big difference. As did waiting till hair was practically dry before using BBH

stonehairbrush · 02/04/2014 17:57

Yes I have been doing it in sections but it just doesn't seem to make any difference... Wondering if I can take it back and get the bigger one!

Costco have the 50, i think it was £35.
