Or do you prefer

these - a snip at the price

AllieBongo · 17/08/2006 20:55

nope, you need somewhere in between

Gobbledigook · 17/08/2006 20:57

The only thing that bugs me about the Fly ones, is the third strap over the toe.

Some really nice Rocket Dog ones when out shopping last night but didn't have my size and I can't find them online anywhere.

Love the Fly ones, Im looking for trainer types to wear with combats now the suns gone

Very nice GDG

80sMum · 17/08/2006 21:15

They look comfortable and what my mother would have called 'sensible.' Anything that doesn't cripple you gets my vote!

Gobbledigook · 17/08/2006 21:41

They are tres comfortable

Am no style queen but I like them ! Now £85 isn't bad if you wear them all winter. DH was a bit 'surprised' when I spent similar last year but I wore them virtually every day and they still looked good by the end of winter so worth every penny (he admitted...)

Gobbledigook · 17/08/2006 21:50

They are marginally cheaper in't shops too

wheelybug · 17/08/2006 21:52

well then..... a veritable bargain

wheelybug · 17/08/2006 21:52

... actually I might get some too... off to find my local stockist ....

Gobbledigook · 17/08/2006 21:53

Ha ha!

If I was going to spend that much I'd probably get some Diesel ones as I really like those.

Do agree that it seems to be worth paying more for shoes. I have a £70 pair of Skechers I bought 4 years ago & they've only really started looking tatty recently.

Frumpy?! They are Fly shoes! The height of trendiness!

Agree re diesel - I've got 2 pairs of diesel (one white with green stripes, one beige with navy stripes) and I love them but they are now 3 years old. The beige ones are Ok but the white are very scuffed now on the toe.

I like the brown for winter, can get away with wearing them in the rain.

Oooooh, like the Fly ones and I am not being swayed by a label as I have never heard of Fly before today.

Gobbledigook · 18/08/2006 08:57

I'm quite surprised - I thought lots of people would say 'yuk!'
