help urgent my high lights have gone wrong need some advise please

can anyone help i have high ligthed my own hair as my hair dresser has gone on holiday.my normal hair colour is mousey and the high ligths have turned out really brassey.i have a family party tomorrow and other then a bag can any one please tell what i can put on it to make it look a more natural colour. thanks

If you can't get to a hairdressers, one option would be to use a temporary hair dye of your natural colour. Nice'n'Easy do some dyes which are of the wash in wash out variety. I think they are supposed to last about six washes. Your highlighted hair will pick up the colour very easily & at least you wouldn't look brassy.
