De-bobbling woollies

I have a few woollies that are suffering from bobbling and am looking for a gadget/technique for restoring them to beauty. Any thoughts?

This or this. I know some people on here have mentioned using curlers to remove bobbles too.

An ordinary disposable razor does the job, just make sure you lay the items flat so that you don't cut them...much like your legs.
