Going out tonight for the first time in aaaaaages and don't know what to wear!!

So I'm going to a vair naice pub / wine bar in the posh bit of town for a friend's birthday do. (She's posh, not me!!)

I have the usual black trousers, nice tops, skinny jeans, a couple of nice twirly skirts but I just don't know what to wear.

What would you wear to this kind of 'do'? I know my birthday-girl-friend is wearing a dress, but it's likely to be a designer swanky elegant smart she's very beautiful type thing.

I wore this dress , black opaque tights with a backseam and chunky heels.

Had a fantastic evening, lots of laughing and good company :)

Great! I've noticed quite a few people recently with seams in tights, I like it - très chic et français!
