Soft Lip Liner Pencil in neutral/pale colours?

Further the the thread about lipstick allergy, I've been trying to use a lip liner pencil (colouring in style!) rather than lipstick and it seems to be working - no outbreaks of cold sores.

But, the couple I have tried are very hard.

Anyone got a go-to pencil which is neutral (or at least not bright red) and also soft?

The only nude one I've ever owned (and still have) is a BodyShop in Beech.
It is years old, I don't wear lipstick much but it does the job.

I'm using up a couple of Chanel pencils, I have a great dusty pink neutral from them (#34 I think) and bizarrely their rosy beige Clair (meant for your eyes) is a great lipliner as well. Both have great texture and are easy to sharpen.

They are great for stopping lip gloss from feathering as well.

Yeah, I'd forgotten Body Shop... Used to love their pencils years ago!

Chanel is a lovely thought, but well out of my price range!
