I need a new bag too, so will watch this thread. But I find with kids/shopping etc, that I want a shoulder strap rather than the short handles that seem popular atm. Also must zip closed for safety/security. Anyone got any seen anything that might suit?

Monsoon have some nice ones, as do Accesorize , and they're not as expensive as you might think.

The fiorelli one looks nice but it looks leather-look as opposed to leather...
Have just found a second hand one at oxfam which is quite nice and only costs £4.99 so think am ok for a bit!
