Please help me find a bag...

... looking for a bag that'll do as a changing bag (don't think I've ever found a changing bag that I like)

planning to use cloth nappies so can't be too small.

I usually like bags from Next or Monsoon, but not seeing anything I like.

Don't want to spend more than £30.

Anyone seen anything nice?

hiya

i saw heaps of nice big bags in next yesterday - i was thinking about changing bags too....but you must have seen them and not like them.

i love the changing bags from this site

especially the timi and leslie ones... and the cord petit planet ones... i had even almost convinced myself that i was going to get one until i was shopping in a big outlet store last week and saw how many gorgeous large bags there are around under £40. i seem to be attracted towards leather-look ones.. like these

sshhh · 15/08/2006 21:19

do you like this one?
bottom left redish one?

helsi · 15/08/2006 21:21

girl or boy? avon have a nice pink funky overnight bag that would be ideal - only £10. Is canvas and has 2 velcro fastenings pockets at each end. 36cm x 26cm x 16cm. PVC hadnles and trim.

tassis · 15/08/2006 21:29

oooh, lots of lovely ones in Next directory - i'd not seen any I like instore (though come to think of it I may not have looked post-sale so must check out the autumn ones).

quite like the oilily changing bag, but not enough to spend £60 as I know I'll want something different come the spring!

OP posts:
sshhh · 15/08/2006 21:43

you get no idea of size on the monsoon website tho'.

tassis · 15/08/2006 21:46

love the floral stitch tweed... wonder how big it is??

OP posts:
tassis · 15/08/2006 21:47

probably not v big at that price...

OP posts:
sshhh · 15/08/2006 21:48

looking back at the next site, i personally think they are hard to beat. in fact i think i'll struggle to narrow down to the one i want...

tassis · 15/08/2006 21:49

you'll just have to get several...

OP posts:
sshhh · 15/08/2006 21:50

floral stitch one says it's a 'shopper' which would indicate it was one of the larger ones?? or would it?

Quootiepie · 15/08/2006 21:53

fab designer bag

sshhh · 15/08/2006 21:56

qootiepie - now that i like. beats the next ones hands down.

sshhh · 15/08/2006 22:02

now where were we?

sshhh · 15/08/2006 22:04

bother again, can't link to actual item..

MSSR Spacious velour bag

put that into the search bar at the top of the page.

tassis · 16/08/2006 08:44

liking the la redoute one too, but thinking about it today I reckon I need one that zips shut so all the wee pots and stuff don't fall out when I sling it under my pram.

must go back and check how that monsoon one fastens. think the fact that it's called a shopper is promising re size, but their bags tend to be pricey which makes me think it may be small...

I was in Gap yesterday they had big Tote bags similar to the ones at the bottom

oliveoil · 16/08/2006 11:15

OMG THOSE GAP ONES ARE FAB!

Do you realise that I work not 5 mins from one and now may have to go on the womens floor at lunchtime instead of just buying socks for dd1?

Eh??

I shall hold you responsible for any purchases!!

Stiglet · 16/08/2006 13:46

I think I'm gonna have to go back and get me one! I only ever spend money on dd1 & dd2 when I'm in there (the socks are fab)

JackieNo · 16/08/2006 13:54

Some quite funky 'ethnic' type ones here , but not sure if they'd be big enough, or have enough pockets?

tassis · 17/08/2006 17:08

in monsoon yesterday

the floral stitch tweed one is great but there were lots of other fab ones too

going to have to go and look again as couldn't decide whcish I liked best!
