I just want a dry cut.
Do you just go in and queue like at the barbers?
I have a coughing child off who needs a hair cut too, thought it would kill two birds with one stone to speak

DH and the DCs go there, as does a friend whose hair always looks great.
Yes, just go in and queue, there are no washing facilities at ours, but they can squirt the hair to damp it before cutting. Don't go on a Saturday morning, the queues are horrendous.

Once when I was in my late teens & never again! I had very long hair & just asked for a trim & they messed it right up.

That was in he reading branch though so maybe be better trained in a different one.

I've had some good cuts from Supercuts, they are quick, too - no messing about. Take a picture of what you want to give them an idea.

I used the one in Bond Street tube station - they had wash basins there so you could have a wet cut and blow dry if you wanted. Recommend them.

Never had a haircut but I did have highlights done in thier once, spur of the moment type thing.

It took forever!!! She did it, then decided she had missed a few bits so redid it! It did look nice in the end though, but I was there for about 3 hours!

Yes - you go in and queue. If you want a restyle, they may want to wash it - but for a trim, a dry cut should be OK.

I've had several haircuts at the Supercuts in Glasgow, and have always been happy with the result.

Depends who you see and where you go.

I normally go in lunch-break to a SW London salon and have had I think 2 cuts which have been ok/good.

If I'm being really picky and honest I wouldn't go there all the time especially for highlights.

also just across the road from me is a salon same/cheaper than Supercuts and even though I wouldn't go there all the time the colorist did a great last minute, super quick job of highlights!

I went last week, can't say I was impressed. There was no one in so I think, in hindsight, I should have taken it as a warning tbh. We have a mega cheap version of Supercuts and they did a far better job for less than half the price.

After all the varying posts I booked in to have a dry cut at a localish salon and he was really nice, nit in a where are you going on holiday way, so I will go back

I only wanted a trim, took over an hour and was still uneven. Went back the next day to get it evened out, still looked awful.

I complained to the head office. The area manager was in at the time and had noticed me sitting for a while so they gave me a refund and a free cut with the most senior stylist. I didn't go back for the free cut!

My Mum once took me for a trim when I was a kid and they said it would be more expensive as I had long hair, so we left. How is it possible for it to be more expensive to have an inch cut off long hair than if you had an inch cut off short hair?

I always go to get my fringe cut as I hate going to the hairdressers for a proper cut and this means I can avoid it as much as possible. They always do a good job and it only costs me 3 quid.

The one near me is pretty good. But my hair is dead straight and I don't have anything complicated just shoulder length with some layers. I like that they are quick and you don't need to book as they actually aren't that much cheaper if you have a wash/blow dry too. I've never had any problems.
