does anyone have this toy lurking in a toy box or loft?

my son was given one when he was born 3 yrs ago, it became his absolute favourite and has gone everywhere with him since. I tried to buy another when he was 1 so we could wash and switch them over but flipping JL had discontinued it by then. i am now at the stage where I'll do anything to get another, his is so close to falling apart and he still won't be parted with it.

Can you not create a saved search on your eBay app? Ie. John Lewis Elephant and whenever anything is listed on eBay matching that description you will be notified.

yes i've done that - nothing yet :-(. I also called JL customer services and they checked stock rooms all over the country, no luck.

Is it made by Jellycat?
I found this website discontinuedjellycats.co.uk where you might get some help.
Jellycat do have a page of retired designs, but strangely it's not there.

No, but we bought a very similar one and very lovely it is from the White Company. Maybe try there?

We have a very, very similar one from M&S,oct 2011. You can't have it, but might give you some more leads.
