Hi,
I expect I'm searching for the impossible... I want pretty sandals/w wedges that don't have a narrow heel (I want good balance way to walk in ones) that aren't a mile high and preferably (much) less than £50?
I'm 28 so don't want to be wearing ones my mum might have, my 3 little ones are too young to really care about what's on my feet but I do :)
Thankyou

I got some from Dorothy Perkins last week, wedge heel, not narrow, look nice. I will see if I can do a link

lizandlulu · 15/03/2014 16:44

Looking st the website they have quite a few nice ones

jimmijam · 15/03/2014 16:48

I'll take a look there, thankyou. Have those ones got the soles that narrow down to almost stiletto width at the bottom? They look like they narrow in the photo and I'd like something wider (I.e not stiletto width on the ground).... Hope that makes sense?
X

I got some of these today from - gulp - BHS of all places. Haven't been in there for donkey's years but I was really surprised with how pretty and affordable some of their sandals are.

I also got a pair of their demi wedge sandals in jade green. Both with be prefect for spring/summer.

I know exactly what you mean about the heel and no they're not like that. I am the most useless person in heels, I just can't wear them, so am lays on the look out for nice going outy shoes that are comfy. These seem to fit the bill quite well

lizandlulu · 15/03/2014 17:31

Those wedges are really nice dipping. I walked past bhs last week and saw some really nice jade green ones advertised in the window, but kids playing up, I wasn't in the mood to go in, but now wish I had done

And these, I think I'm drawn to the colour more than anything!

lizandlulu - those are the very ones I also got! I am very tempted with the navy wedges too. I am thinking that all of these will certainly pay for themselves many times over. Needless to say, there are still plenty of completely shocking designs in there too Grin

jimmijam · 15/03/2014 18:48

Ooh love the £20 ones!! Would have to be jade or purple! :)
Id looked on the Clarke's site but not seen those, I found another £50 pair bit want totally convinced with them also being £50.do you think there will be any sale codes soon? ;)

I hadn't thought of looking In bhs, like yourselves I haven't been in one for a few years either (living in the middle of nowhere doesn't help with that)

I think I'll be getting the laptop out tonight! Thankyou :)

:( when searching I saw sandals similar to some I already have and remembered I have wide feet and that's why I'm in need of more :(
Found some called 'rusty free' at Clarke's, can't find them cheaper. They're leather, grip sole, wide fit, adjustable strap but... Can I justify the £50??? Hmmm

lizandlulu · 16/03/2014 08:43

I think £50 is no toooooo bad if the shoes are comfy. I have wide feet too and it makes shoe buying awful. That's why I buy them when I see them, rather than if I need them.
If here comfy, and fit well you can't wear them for agood few years and get your wear out of them.

What if you bought 2 pairs of £20 ones but neither were very good and you never wore them?

Go on, justtpget the £50 ones :)

lizandlulu · 16/03/2014 08:44

Are you signed up for the clarks emails? They have different deals on. I've never bought off the website cos I HAVE to try shoes on before I buy cos my feet are so awkward!

I've always said I don't have shoe shaped feet!

lizandlulu · 16/03/2014 08:46

Ohh they're nice!!!! Especially the green and yellow ones. I might have to invest myself!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 16/03/2014 08:59

I order lots of Clarks to be delivered instore, (wide feet and between sizes) then go in, try them all on and then just buy any that suit, the rest go back, it's really easy.

jimmijam · 16/03/2014 09:52

They closed our local store a year or so ago :( so I can't poo in and try them on our test the colors :(
Yes good point about buying two cheap pairs!
I may have to go for it :) heehee x
