what can I wear in my hair and on my feet - I've lost all my fashion sense!

I'm going to a (church) wedding at the end of the month and I'll be wearing a suit I bought for my daughter's christening but I need some inspiration for headwear and footwear to tart it up.

The suit is from Jigsaw - the skirt is long and A-line (ends at my ankles) in a plain teal colour and the jacket is hip-length and ties at the back. The buttons and fastenings are grey and I'm wearing a grey strappy top.

I'd like to add some height with the shoes but don't think a heel would look right with the length of skirt...and what colour to wear? I wore sequinned flip-flops for the christening but want something more dressy for a wedding.

I'd like something other than a hat for my head but I don't know where to begin. I have shoulder-length dark hair.

Any suggestions?

I see what you mean about heels and that length skirt, but I think it can be done if they're not too chunky. I think I'd go for either slightly glam flats or a kitten heel.
If you have the ankles for ballet pumps, Next and Topshop both have some fab teal ones, or silver would be good too, or even grey suede (very subtle).
I have ghastly fat ankles so prefer a bit of a heel - maybe something like these though without the slightly tacky crackle effect, or even these if the colour's right.
Actually I love these and think they'd go beautifully even though the heel might be a bit high.

Re headwear, you needn't wear anything at all if you don't want to, but a fascinator could look great. Guess you'd want something in either grey/silver or teal, which will be the tricky bit as everything at the moment seems to be black, pink or ivory with a few in chocolate.
The exception seems to be Debenhams, who have a silver feathered clip that you could either stick in an updo or wear on one side, or snip off and reattach to a comb or an alice band if that'll work better with your hair.
