Wedding ring - best shops

I'm getting married this June and me and soon to be DH are now thinking about the rings.

I'm currently wearing a simple solitaire diamond engagement ring from Tiffany's but I don't want my wedding ring from there - felt a bit let down by their customer service as we weren't spending megabucks. Also, I don't think our budget now stretches to another platinum ring!

So, does anyone know of any good shops (preferably shops and not online) which are good value for wedding rings. I think I'm looking for an eternity style (row of diamonds) wedding ring

Are the high street stores all much of a muchness? Any that are recommended, or not? Are they all ethical? I'm near London and hoping to take a trip in to the centre in the next few weeks so any S&B wisdom appreciated!

Have you looked at www.weddingrings-direct.com/rings/platinum-950. We bought our platinum rings from them 10 yrs ago and they are both still beautiful, despite all the the DIY and dishes thrown at them. Their customer service at that time was also fabulous. They sent us somewhere around 10 rings (in two batches) to try and then were happy to meet my requirements (i wanted a thin band and low profile due to my engagement rings profile).

Thankyou all, the ring sizer has been ordered from Amazon, the shopping trip to London / Hatton Galleries is pencilled in for next Thursday to check out ring widths for DH2b who has never worn a ring before. I'm quite excited to try on some platinum/palladium rings and see what goes with the engagement ring!

Most likely after our look round the shops, we're probably going to go with Alba Rose, the prices and choice on that site are fantastic, hope customer service lives up to expectations!
