The laces annoy me, but I am nearly willing to overlook it...

I think they are a bit too busy, if that makes sense.

I know what you mean, but I usually wear plain clothing and no accessories at all a part from watch when it is necessary or one colour scarf when it is very cold.
I also don't wear heels...
And I am very careful with patterns on my outfits.
