Concealer for very pale skin

I have incredibly pale skin, with dark under eye shadows and some redness around the nose (nice eh?)
I don't want to have to wear a heavy foundation every day though.

My GP suggested going on the pill because of spots and these are now clearing up nicely, but I still get the occasional one that needs dealing with.

My current concealer doesn't blend in without foundation over the top and I would like not to have to wear foundation if I can as I would like to look more natural if possible

I am a teenager and mum said I could come on here and ask you for advice.

Any ideas please, thanks

I used to be a make-up artist in a former life, I did a wedding once where the bride was extremely pale, all my alabaster foundations looked grubby on her. I found a product called Face Atelier Ultra Foundation - Zero Minus 0, this product was brilliant for mixing into a foundation to lighten it up, great for those light skinned girls who buy loads of products only to find they don't suit. Also Nicola Roberts, the pale red head from Girls Aloud developed her own range of products called Dainty Doll. Apparently she had so many problems getting makeup to suit she developed her own. Dainty Doll has a range of foundations, mineral foundations and concealers.

Another fair skinned type here. I also have freckles so try to use as little foundation as poss (Bobbi Brown skin foundation SPF at the mo) For my dark bags and the occ spot I use Bobbi Brown corrector concealer and MAC cover up. However when I was a teenager I used the pale version of Touche Éclat all the time - worked a treat.

I would recommend the by terry touche veloutée over YSL touche éclat; TV is yellow-based and therefore much more flattering than TE, which is pink. TE photographs badly under flash, giving an unfortunate reverse-panda look...

As a cheaper alternative to Touche Eclat, Aldi does a Lacura concealer pen which is a very good match, the palest shade is perfect for my very pale face. It is £3.49 but has been discontinued so you'll have to check a couple of local Aldi's to find one I imagine (but it is coming back as a promotion later this year Grin)

Ooh that's good news AnnaBegins. I loved that Lacura concealer and was pissed off when I found they'd discontinued it. I think it was better than Touche Eclat. I need to keeep my eye out for it and stock up.
