Just got a charity shop bargain! Oyster / nude colour bias cut knee length by M and S Autograph. I've a few weddings this year. What colours would look best with it for shoes, bag etc? I usually wear bold colours but this grabbed me as v elegant and fab fit. I've got light brown hair with warm tones and greenish eyes. Thanks!

Rose gold - pearly tones or go for serious contrast.

MrsMarigold · 10/03/2014 17:10

ie black or burgundy...

FauxFox · 10/03/2014 17:21

Silver, gold, nude, cream, snakeskin all good imo

stuckindamiddle · 10/03/2014 17:36

Hmmm, silver or contrasting black sound good....

Coral looks lovely with nude, so does bright white. Or a metallic that matches the underlying tone of the nude.

Minnieisthedevilmouse · 10/03/2014 17:43

Coral. Electric blue. Yellow.

Seriously? Silver or black???? Yawnsville....

FauxFox · 10/03/2014 18:02

here, here, here and here. Classic, sexy, classy…yawnsville?

Oyster and yellow/blue/coral? really? Confused

StarsAbove · 10/03/2014 20:09

Definitely gold. Dark colours would look odd IMO.

Minnieisthedevilmouse · 10/03/2014 20:30

Seriously yes.

Um, shoes ok on there own but yes a bit "seen in a hundred shops". Aldo is pricey for cheap shoes too (purely my opinion).

Dark colours too 'office' 'old' yes, dated. Going with a bright is more modern, this season. Even tribal might be better.

Minnieisthedevilmouse · 10/03/2014 20:33

Metallics good too.

vichill · 10/03/2014 20:44

coral

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 10/03/2014 20:50

I'd go coral too, or leopard print, but I'm a closet bar wench where LP is concerned. Nice leopard print though. Not plasticky fabrics.

I agree re Aldo. Really bloody uncomfortable shoes, expensive for New Look et al quality, IMO.

I might go leopard or snake print shoes with a nude background and a black or charcoal clutch.

With your hair tone and greenish eyes I think soft violet purple, nothing dark, stark or bright, but a definite colour to complement your oyster bargain! Hope you enjoy the weddings.

Rose gold, dove grey or a pastel tone (pink, mint etc) if you want something to blend

Coral, sunshine yellow or cranberry if you want to contrast.

Gold, silver it nude if you want something neutral to play it safe
