Having a clothes crisis again, this time maternity clothes

I frequently have these due to a dislike of shopping. Plus I am so used to buying things for the children through ebay and NCT sales that everything seems ridiculously expensive.

But... I really need some maternity clothes now as I sit here in my Hennes maternity jeans (very trendy with DS in 2002) and a maternity top which is fine but with no jumper/cardigan.

I am 5 months and expecting in December with child number 3 so already have a good sized bump.

I'm at home with the children so don't need 'smart' for work. I have been searching on ebay for Hennes and 7 for all mankind jeans which is a start but any other names I may have missed out on?

Pumpkin Patch, Next, Top Shop

Dorothy Perkins have pretty OK maternity stuff as do Red Herring at Debenhams.

JoJo Maman Bebe and Blooming Marvellous would also be worth a look if you want to look online.

H&M best IMO and not massively expensive.

The other thing would be to post a WANTED add here and give your size and see if anyone has stuff they want to sell on.

hiya, I found Asda and Tesco do inexpensive maternity clothes too, definately worth a look

liquidclocks · 13/08/2006 15:44

Definitely definitely H&M and dorothy perkins for comfy casual clothes. What size/height are you - I'll be selling a load in about 5 wks hopefully!

Gem13 · 13/08/2006 17:54

Thanks. I'm 5'7, size 10-12, small to medium in Hennes maternity.

Would add M&S to the list and Next have some ace stuff for autumn, though couldn't order online 'cause they wanted me to open a storecard. Recently bought a posh frock from Isabella Oliver for the christening and 3 weddings we've got this month, too - but their stuff is pricey.

liquidclocks · 13/08/2006 19:05

Gem13 I have a pair of Citizens Of Humanity Jeans that I got from 9London, was going to ebay them but they sound like they might be a good fit for you?

I'll try and link to them (and find them!)

If you're interested let me know.

Neena28 · 13/08/2006 19:12

Like these think they are like this same waist etc will check size but I think they're 30

Gem13 · 13/08/2006 20:41

They look fab. I have picked myself up off the floor after seeing the price though... £207 on a pair of jeans!!!

Yes, I would be interested but it obviously depends on how much you want for them. Feel free to CAT me.

They were a present...I wouldn't have paid that either!!!

Gem13 · 15/08/2006 20:57

I am still interested if you can find them.

I'm going away for a week so if you post back in the meantime - could I have first refusal please?
