I need a cardigan. Just a plain cardigan...

Why am I finding it so bloody hard to find such a simple piece of clothing? I have spent hours looking everywhere today for just a couple of simple cardigans to wear instead of a suit jacket to work, but it was time wasted. Can anyone give me any pointers? Ideally i am looking for one that buttons to the neck (ie, not v neck) and has three quarter neck sleeves, was thinking maybe one pink and one black but open to suggestions on colour. Not grannyish. Anyone? Please?

I have a couple from Monsoon, they are 3/4 sleeves but don't button right up. Not v-neck tho...

Tesocs have a black one just like that.

Land's End often a good bet for knitwear, but my top tip is Benetton - the big ones always have a good range of plain basic crewnecks, vnecks, roll necks and cardies tucked away somewhere.

And of course if you're really flush there's always Brora .

or are you going to leave it in the rain like a Carefree Mum?
