Where to find small bras for teenagers

DD has been wearing the 28AA junior bras but has asked me for new ones as she is getting teased for being AA and she feels like they squash her flat. I've just measured her and she is almost 25" underneath and 28" round the fullest part so after reading all the threads on here I'm thinking 26B might be a better fit for her but I can't find any anywhere!! Surely this can't be unusual, DD is slim but not overly skinny.

I saw some really tiny ones today in both primark and peacocks.they did have decent looking cups

The measurements you give indicate she could be about a 24D which doesn't exist or a 26C

The interventionists suggested buying something called a rixie clip to make the back smaller or you could try a 28B which is the size dd is wearing from M&S.

Ooh that was a great site, thanks pictures. Have ordered her the teen bra in 28B to try. They don't have wires but are made to look as though they do, which I think will give her the more 'grown up' look she is after! Why do young girls want to grow up so quickly? Why are young girls so bitchy to each other? I've told her just to laugh at them and lightly say something like "we all come in different shapes & sizes, I'm happy so why are you bothered what size my boobs are?" I'm hoping that will make them feel stupid and some of the other smaller girls will back her. They are only 12/13 FFS. However they have made me realise she has outgrown the bras she had so all good I suppose!!

It was another mumsnetters who directed me towards that site.

My dd keeps getting told by her school friends that her bra must be too big because its a B cup & others who are bigger are still A or AA. But that's because dd is wearing 28B & her friend a 32A band which I'm certain is going to be too big a back size.

But dd is 12 & in year 7 & only a few if her friends are developed yet.

your best bet is probably to try the 28B and see how the cups are, and take the band in if necessary. There are only a couple of companies making 26s and most of them are special order which is ridiculous. John Lewis do a few non wired teen bras which might fit the bill - they're not that easy to find on the website but if you put "28B" in to the main search box on the homepage they show up!

Thanks statistically. Have ordered a couple of 28B from the bras4all website plus a couple from the M&S Angel range for her to try. All white, nude and black which won't please her but M&S appear to be sold out of all the patterned ones in a 28B. There must be a huge market out there for bras this size. Most of DDs friends must be 24 and 26 with varying cup sizes, why is nobody making these for them??

Good question! The answer being that most ofcthe teen bra manufacturers are still using the plus 4 method.
