What do you wear with kaftan/tunic type long tops?

I have recently accidentally bought two tunic tops from White Stuff / Fat face thinking they were dresses but they are too short. They both have3/4 sleeves and an empire waist with ties and reach only a couple of inches below my bum. I am tall so they would probably be longer on most people.

What would you wear with that sort of top? They are really pretty so I want to keep them but they seem to be even too short to wear with leggings (is it just me? I feel likeI have forgotten my trousers if I wear leggings with anything shorter than mid-thigh). Maybe time to get over my fear of skinny jeans/jeggings.. (I don't have the slimmest thighs..).

Yep skinny means or jeggings would work. I agree leggings might be too skimpy.

Thanks! Do jeggings stay up like leggings or are they more likely to fall down? I always need a belt with jeans so am a bit concerned about skinny jeans & jeggings falling down or looking lumpy under the top with a belt underneath..
