Best hair straighteners for under 50

Have very fine hair so don't use straighteners very often as they tend to make my hair look even finer but would like a pair to use occasionally. Don't want to spend more than 50 so recommendations for decent ones in that price range would be very welcome.

just bought a pair of Remingtons from Argos for £20, to replace a pair branded 'Vidal Sassoon' where the thermostat has gone. The new ones look fairly similar but work really well on my treated curly hair. And there's a 60 minute cut out to solve that 'did I turn them off?' worry.

I have the remington 20 pound ones too. They are brilliant on my hair, which can frizz a bit. They leave it looking sleek and poker straight.

i have remingtons too. my mum has babyliss ones and they're good, both brands were about £20-£25 max.
