I always get spots on my chin just before my period and they last till after it is gone. Is there anything i can do to prevent it?

Have you tried salicylic/glycolic acid?
Or avoiding dairy?

Both worked for my hormonal acne.

Vitamins - zinc and magnesium. If that doesn't work then carry on but add angus cactus. Works every time to regulate hormone fluctuations and improve skin.

I used to get awful hormonal acne on my jawline. I started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA gel and it totally cleared it up, it's amazing! Think the uk website is www.paulaschoice.co.uk she has loads of advice on there about what moisturiser etc to choose too. I'm a total convert to her products now. I also use the 10% AHA once a week.

Hope this helps. Breakouts suck.

Raggydoll At what point do you take the zinc and magnesium? A week before period is due? Mid-cycle? Or for the whole cycle?

I use Quinoderm at bed time, just started recently and no hormonal spots this month. It is the only time I get them since roaccutane a few years ago.
