Babe or badger? Dare I use this product on my hair?

Sorry, don't know, but LMAO at 'babe or badger'.

AvaLou · 11/08/2006 15:11

Go ahead.
Your hairdresser will sort it out if you make a cock up.
I must admit I hate these poncy names for beauty products, are we meant to think 'Ooh how exotic, it's french' ?

Not so exotic if you translate it, in fact in some cases totally meaningless.

Stiglet · 11/08/2006 15:19

I wonder what couleur experte means? lol I'd rather not cock it up as I don't have enough free time to get my hair coloured only cut (due to one hungry baby with poncy french name ) and it's seriously needs doing. D'ya know what I hate.. when they make up stupid names for ingredients.. I mean Boswelox wtf's that about? sorry off on one.. .

Don't bother stiglet, my mom usually colours my hair (very well too!) and we tried this once and it was crap! We ended up re colouring and it didn't cover properly!!!! The 'easy to use' wand wasn't and i did look like a badger, def not a babe!!

Radley · 11/08/2006 16:44

One of my mates swears by these and always uses them, her hair looks fab .

Such mixed reviews! Unfortunetly due to the small baby welded to my boob I can't stay in the hairdressers long enough for a colour only a cut.. someone recommend a good dye to sort me out!!

AvaLou · 11/08/2006 16:53

lol at baby welded to boob, what colour do you have/ want?
I am the queen of home hair dyes so hope I can help.

Stiglet · 11/08/2006 16:56

Fantastic, I just want the top half of my head to be the same colour as the bottom half lmao The top is light brown and the bottom is highlighted quite blonde!

AvaLou · 11/08/2006 17:01

Hmmm that will be tricky, try L'oreal 'colour booster' in the lightest brown shade, if your hair is past shoulder length then use two packs at once.
It will make it a light brown all over, but the blonder bits will be lighter, but not blonde, iyswim.
Sorry if thats no help, but i'm not sure what you are wanting overall.

AvaLou · 11/08/2006 17:18

Ooor if you are light brown on top and want lighter there's 'booster' blonde colours too that aren't so scary as bleaching but really work.
I would agree with others that attempts at highlighting at home are always going to be a disaster!
