I'm going out on Saturday night for a big party that is being done for me (like a hen party but not) I'm wearing a black dress sleeveless and thick black tights.
I need a jacket and arm covering item 
jacket, cardigan whatever.
and some shoes. Shoes less important than jacket.
I'm size 8 shoes and size 18/20 top.
Could you please give me some ideas of what would go/look right.
