what casual daytime clothes do you like/wear?

what do you wear if say its just a casual day

perhaps meeting a friend or going shopping?

My favourite casual outfit at the moment is indigo skinnies, navy jumper with bronze stud detail around the neck, with a denim shirt underneath so you can just see the done up collar and tails (not sure if double denim is too much ), tan suede ankle boots. Probably not very fashionable but I think it looks okay.

Or

Khaki green skinnies, long line green vest with a rust jumper over the top and chestnut knee length riding boots.

If I was just going shopping on my own or with DS, I would usually opt for skinnies (New Look 99% cotton, 1% elastane are the business! I have three pairs ), ankle boots or leopard high tops, a striped top (usually Boden's Essential Crew Neck Tee in the navy and white), a soft blazer (my fave is a navy one from the Johnnie B Boden range) and a scarf (Whistles and Gap are my faves).

If I was going shopping with friends, then I would up the ante and probably wear a slouchy leopard top (got a Noisy May one in a charity shop recently), a chunky gold necklace, skinnies and heeled ankle boots, plus my biker style coat with leather look sleeves and a leopard cross body bag.

But it can vary hugely. I went round to a friend's house last week and wore a navy dress with a pug print, a statement necklace, sparkly brogues from Clarks (love them!) and a hot pink boiled wool coat from Fenn Wright Manson!

I pretty much live in either skinnies and a biker jacket or peacoat, with ankle boots or Converse, or in Whistles tube skirts with ankle boots.
