after some damned fool in richmond store dressed the mannequin in the whole caboodle - i.e. matching jacket and skirt with bland black top. looked verry middle aged dinner and dance. in fact i'm sure my mum had something siilar int he 70s.

That is one horrible skirt. It's not just the fabric it's the drape and the waist. It might have worked if it was low slung and hung better.

I suppose you could accessorize it with a chicken baster.
