Watching telly - warm loungewear ideas please

I can just about sort myself out for days out but at home I'm generally cold at this time of year.

Today I have a thermal l/s tee, a white shirt and a cashmere round neck jumper on and I'm still cold.

I want to revamp my 'at home/loungewear' stuff (currently in a daggy DASH outfit - bleugh) but the fine/thin yoga pants seem cold. What's everyone else wearing tonight while chilling in front of the telly?

I'm currently wearing primark men's fleece pjs. All the woman's ones are pink with bunnies or some other fluffy animal on them but the men's generally are plain dark coloured hoodie and dark trousers. And the hoodies are long enough to keep your back warm.

And they cost about a tenner. I get the small size and I'm about a 12/14, they do extra small too (and they are generally in the sale).

These fleecy tops are super warm. I always end up taking them off!

Standard attire when I get in from work: pj bottoms, dp's t-shirt, oversize hoodie (currently not so oversize due to up-duffedness)
Not stylish and I would be ashamed if we got a knock on the door but I am very toastie

Ah, I love my comfies and have way too many a lot.

Tonight I'm wearing Hush PJ bottoms tucked into sheepskin houseboots, with a Johnnie B pointelle top and a Vanilla Park (teens but lovely and snuggly) fleece hoody.

I would be cold in what you describe, unless it is a very chunky cashmere.

I do find that extremities are more important than you realise. Boot slippers and cashmere scarf / snood and wristwarmers make a huge difference to warmth when sitting around.

I ? my fleece onesie, its super warm and cosy. I'm totally embarrassed by it too, I never thought I'd be one those people.

I'm a neat/tailored clothing personality so would struggle with some of the things but I'm so bloody cold indoors I might have to rethink!

I also have that funnel neck m&s fleece top linked above and can attest to its warmth! I don't usually do loungewear either but really feel the cold and it's very toasty (especially with cat plonked on lap too)

I don't want to wear pyjamas or a onesie or a fleece :( I'm a lost cause. Jeans are SO uncomfy for watching telly in all curled up on the sofa - plus cat of course -

I wear a cashmere loungesuit. So comfortable and warm.

someone on here suggested superdry lounge pants, i was a bit at the thought of them but oh. my. god.!! Ive ordered 2 more pairs.

They are super fleeces on the inside, and lovely on the outside, so i wouldnt be bothered about popping out to the shops in them. first day they came through the post I didnt take them off for bed! sooo lovely and warm and comfy too, plus there straight leg so they dont go massive and bunch up like others can!

Merino leggings - Celtic and co
Baggy round neck cashmere jumper
Sheepskin moccasin soft soled slippers
Cashmere bed socks

vix are they what the website call joggers? I can't sit on my sofa with logos on my leg - the cat wouldn't come near me

I've taught myself to crochet, so my loungewear is an increasingly long blanket :o

(I do wear clothes under it too, but it is curiously pleasing to be making my own blanket!)

I have that M&S funnel necked top too. It is so snuggly, I love it. Although it's pretty much the least flattering garment I own.

My loungewear uniform is harem trousers (eBay cheapies in the absence of Hush expensive ones), vest top, cashmere v neck, merino kettlewell snood/infinity scarf, Brora wristwarmers, thick walking socks, sheepskin slippers from Celtic sheepskin. As someone said, it's all about the extremities and neck!

I'm currently sitting in a velour grey track suit from primark it's comfy as but usually at night watching tv I'm wearing pj bottoms vest top and a fleecy cowl necked pj top thing best thing I've ever bought, if I'm cold during the day I stick it on

I recommend the vast man's cashmere jumper, available in charity shops if you don't want to pay a lot. Crucially, it doesn't look daggy if you have to nip out for chocolate. Also skiing socks for the feet, which you can wedge into shoes without getting fully dressed for a trip out.

I love reading these treads, because sometimes I think perhaps everyone is all dressed up at home... I can't relax at home if I am wearing my usual "wearing out" clothes. I wear ugg style slippers with thick socks, leggings or jogging type bottoms, baggy jumpers. I have some fleece dresses from uniqlo which are also great, but wool/cashmere jumpers are warmer and less sweaty.

I have lots of stylish lounge wear... But what keeps me warm is my over sized fleece dressing gown that goes over everything (even my normal clothes if I am cold)
