that gives you lovely long lashes without the clump?

"Rimmel" is Romanian for mascara.
I really do know a lot of crap tonight.

Crikey, thanks for the replies. Well def can't afford the Dior, Channel route but Rimmel seems to be getting a lot of thumbs ups. So Rimmel ladies, which one?

I've just got virgin vie 'great lenghts' mascara which is very good , stays put but easy to remove and looks natural with no clumping. Cost about a tenner.

Last month I got chanels 'extracils' which is the worst mascara ever. Totally flaky and thin and not worth the money at all. I think all chanel makeup is overrated though.I have got the face powder and find that floury.I've got the cristalle lipgloss too which looks nice on but the tube leaks.

I'm a rimmel fan too. A waterproof one in a blue tube. Can't rmember the name sorry. And I'm now at work, so I cant go check the make up bag.

Got a good one from Clarins (duty-free as special treat). Doesn't stick your lashes together.

NedKelly1978 · 10/08/2006 10:56

Invest in a lancome one, they really are worth the extra.

NedKelly1978 · 10/08/2006 10:56

and lancome does not clump!

Mascaraohara · 10/08/2006 10:57

Lancome Flextencils or Definicals(?) I prefer Flextencils but both good.

NedKelly1978 · 10/08/2006 11:56

mine is amplicics or something! I need the volumising effect as I have barely any eyelashes.

got it right second time!

TutterOtsky · 10/08/2006 11:57

have jumped ship recently from clarins to chanel

extracils i think

MrsBadger · 10/08/2006 12:41

have short, sparse and mousy lashes
tried Clique, Lancome, Boots 7, 17 and Maybelline
all were rubbish

Only decent one is Rimmel Extreme Definition that comes with a comb, though tbh the comb is the clincher so I bet any one with a comb would work.

bakedpotato · 10/08/2006 12:45

prof makeup artist who works on glossy mags told me posh/expensive mascara no better than cheapo ones

save yer pennies

i use a cottonbud to remove clumpy bits

drosophila · 10/08/2006 19:27

Well the Prescriptives one is Pretty good. Deffo better than Maybeline one and the Max factor one with the funny brush. I am tempted to try the Rimmel one. I have fair lashes and I just want something to colour them and maybe a little length. I keep rubbing my eyes at work though so Mascara has alot of work to do for me.

treacletart · 10/08/2006 22:25

I die my eyelashes with Coloursport 30 day mascara - no clumps, no smudges, looks great first thing in the morning and its very inexpensive

themoon66 · 11/08/2006 11:24

You can buy a little plastic eyelash comb for a quid in Tesco. I got one yesterday and it's ace for just whisking the clumps away before they dry.

multitasker · 31/08/2006 14:55

Have bought expensive ones, dont think they are any better. Stick with Rimmel. Volume lash? in a red tube I think.
