I read that stat somewhere recently (damned if I can remember where!) and thought that this must be ridiculous. Have no idea how credible this 'survey' was but please tell me its not true Have just read the Observer article linked in the style thread about 'what is a normal sized woman' and it contained pretty frightenening information re how even v young girls see themselves compared to their skinny idols.
Any opinions (and will try to find source of dodgy 98% statistic!)
