I have never really been that into high fashion or stuff that's 'bang on trend', but in my 30s and 40s I'm feeling much more comfortable in my own style, more willing to try something new, wear purple tights with a turquoise dress with a quirky pair of boots Etc, whereas in my 20s I was more conformist but never really 'in fashion' . Now if I'm in fashion, it's by accident and I'm now putting outfits together that I like, knowing they are not trendy, but I like them. (Mind you, I've started buying a couple of animal print things..I think I need to stop before I turn into Bet Lynch!
