So, should I go brunette?

Have had blonde highlights for as long as I can remember, however my natural colour is getting darker teh older I get. Should I take the plubge a go a nice chocolate brown?

Advice please.

well, as an un-highlighted and entirely natural brunette myself, I'd say yes!

Maybe not all at once though else it might be a bit of a shock - could you have chestnut/caramel highlights rather than the blonde and ease yourself in gently?

NomDePlume · 06/08/2006 15:33

I did it about 2 years ago, after being an assisted blonde for 8 years or so. It looks loads better, my skin tone looks right, it always looked a bit pink as a blonde. My hair looks in much better condition now, glossy and whatnot.

FWIW, I always pictured you as a brunette anyway, Northerner.

From the pics I have seen on here I think you would look lovely with a glossy chocolate brown colour.

ScummyMummy · 06/08/2006 15:45

do it. if it looks shite you can change it.

pink - you should go pink

Northerner · 06/08/2006 16:42

Don't think pink would suit me. Though do know someone with purple hair.......

I'm a natural muddy blonde, and a few years ago went auburn. i stayed various shades of red/auburn for several years and have only just gone back to being blonde. My fave colour was a lovely dark auburn brown, and I was often complimented on it. My current work colleagues actually think that thee red head is my natural colour, and I've dyed it blonde!

sorry, very longwinded way of saying go for it!!
