Has anyone actually radically changed their body?

Have you gone from being a bit flabby and wobbly to having a body that is "fit"?

I kind of feel resigned to having a slim but wobbly body but would love to hear real life stories of people who have actually turned it around and ended up with a fab body

One of my colleagues at work has been following rhoughly the suggestions of the "You are what you eat" books. She looks 5 years younger and really beautiful, and that has take place in just 5 months.

Took about 6 months, but I was very focussed on chanigng my lifestyle at the time, didn't have children and was working freelance so I could do something say - 5 days per week. Was also meditating and doing yoga. I have to say losing weight wasn't my goal at the outset, I wanted to shake myself out of a slump, get more energy and to get out of the house it was a pleasing bonus though.

Stayed in good shape for about three or four years (without the need for excessive maintenance) till I met DH and started going on eating holidays!
