Spray on fake tans, what do I need to consider?

Not the ones that involve me being a contortionist in the bathroom. I want the ones where I go to a saloon and have it done.

So:
are they a good result or a bit nasty?
How long does it last (roughly)
What's the best brand to seek out
Does it make you smell like a digestive biscuit

What pre-spray prep would I need to do (exfoliate and wax but how long beforehand)

And what is worn? Paper knicks? Nothing Shock
And what kind of price would I be looking at

Any top tips?
(Not going on holiday this year and TBH, I don't tan anyway. Curse my Celtic skin Sad )

TIA

re they a good result or a bit nasty? - I always feel better when I have mine done.
How long does it last (roughly) Roughly 1 week. You can prolong it by moisturizing every day. I find that it starts to come off my hands, face and chest before anywhere else.

What's the best brand to seek out - St Tropaz
Does it make you smell like a digestive biscuit. Yes

What pre-spray prep would I need to do (exfoliate and wax but how long beforehand) Exfoliate, shave, and moisturise dry areas the day before.

And what is worn? Paper knicks? Nothing shock Paper knickers if you want, I just wear a black g-string
And what kind of price would I be looking at - Depends where you live, here they are £25

Any top tips?

Everything HotCross said . And wear loose clothing you don't want patchy legs cos your jeans were rubbing . I usually wear a pair of linen trousers a vest top and oversized cardigan (yes I actually have a "spray tan" outfit Blush)

Shower (but not shave or exfoliate) before , and don't put deodorant or anything else on , as it will turn green

I third HotCrossPun except I have a girl who comes to my house to spray me so I can just put loose pjs on.

I always feel better once tanned, but I often DIY with a mousse too.
I pay £20 but I think it depends on where you are
