What do you call your underwear?

We say pants, for boys' and girls', but confusingly I find myself calling ds's "pantie pants" just because everything ends up having an "ie" on the end of it.

Do you wear pants, or knickers? Or something else?

Everyone wears pants or undies, me and DD also wear knickers and DD alone wears knick knicks.

we have pants/undies/boxers/knicker in our house but you should how indignant my boys get when I mistakenly tell them to get their knickers on....ooh...how dare I think they be girlies.

mind, they also get told 'good girl' too half the time.

ds - pants (current favourites are Buzz Lightyear who beseeches him (with a voice not dissimilar to mine!) not to wee on his head every time the pants go on!)

dh - boxers

me - knickers and one pair of boyshorts which I think is a cool name for undies.

Yes we use knicks for girls and pants for boys, have been known to tell DD to go and get some pants.

i say knickers for girls and prob pants/boxers for boys but my in laws say panties which makes me cringe for boys. But then they say socksees too...

Agree NDP - yuk, couldn't say 'panties'. Also hate 'panty liners' - cant' they think of another name for them?! Sounds like 'bin liners'
