new capsule wardrobe for autumn winter.

Had DD2 2.5 weeks ago & a good 8 - 10 lbs over my normal weight (8st 3lbs) with 36 D/DD boobs. Everything is too tight, except maternity clothes, which are too baggy.

Any ideas on some items which will tide me over ?

Also, DH has promised me new clothes/wardrobe, if I get rid of my old junk....well, 2 bags of it have left for the charity shop today

I'm seriously lacking inspiration

OK so yo uare a size 10 ish I would have though, but with big boobs??

First you need some good jeans to hold you all in - Monsoon are fab IMHO. They are strechy and should hold ou in as you lose weight too. Then some nice strechy vesty tops, good for now and later in layers. Look for linger ones that end up on the hips or tops of thighs. You can throw a WIDE best around toowhich will help cover jelly belly (keep it lowish, but at least 3" wide. You also need a jacket. Autum is all about short and volume. So look for a crop jkt which is swingy (I found a fab one in Primark for £10) red, crop sleeves but with volume. Big collars and sleeves on Jkts are good. These will also help over teh norks. I also love cardis. I wear neat little black cardis ver everything!!

Fun shoes are great, doen't matter how heavy you are. If you can wear heels look for stacked platforms. Don't buy the cheap tat thatis left in te sales, except jeans or vest tops as the colours will look WRONG in a month. Look for classics like denim, cream, black, red etc. Loads of places have nice new Autumn stock I would do good rumage in Primark, Peacocks is another fashionista haunt ATM. ALso buy one new Spet issue magazine. The glossies have ALL the new trecds to spot.

I will be doing ladylike glamour, keeping things streamlined but with a coat/jkt with 'volume' or neat and fitted top, but vlume on teh skirt IYKWIM.

Hi Crunchie - thanks for advice - wanna come shopping with me ?!!

had a look on the Monsoon website for jeans...but I couldn't see denim ones. Assume bootleg are fine ? maybe straightleg, but no way to skinny jeans (tops of my legs look like legs of ham )

Usually flick through Heat/Grazia/Now each week, which glossie could you recommend ?
