My Whistles skirt is about to go for a quid on eBay because I can't photograph right!

Never bloody worn it either.

I'm usually ok but this is black jersey. How do you photograph black items to show them off properly? I could kick myself really.

Is it a tube skirt?

Do you have a hanger with clips? If so use that and photograph it by the window with an up close pic of the fabric or detailing

It's a jersey pencil skirt. The one with a zip up the back. I was rushing I suppose but I just couldn't get any details up.

Maybe it's because I used the app. It wouldn't let me edit and put dome better ones up.

And Jersey just doesn't photograph well. You live and learn.

I think if there is already a bid it doesn't let u edit.

Try taking a pic outside in daylight. Artificial light almost always changed colours.

No it's a small 16! It's too late anyway as someone has put a bid on it. It is very nice and basic.

Do coconutty's idea. I had to get a friend to bid on something once when I'd posted the wrong pic for a dress and then cancelled it

It's gone now. It's still £85 on the website. Got a Tenner for it. Never worn. It's nice that someone's got a bargain. I hope it fits them better than it did me.

For another time you can end an auction early even with bids.

Why didn't you just post the picture from the website?

Because the eBay app wouldn't take it. I tried. They said they were too big.
